Raspberry Bread Pudding

Sometimes it's the simplest ingredients the things lying around in your fridge or pantry that with the right touch can create some really delicious foods. This particular is very very simple and very very delicious. In this particular recipe I used my Sesame bread that I made a few days earlier and my fruit of choice was raspberries but there are many fruit options that can be added to the dish to create you own special flip or twist. What I love about Bread Pudding with just a few adjustments you can make it a great breakfast dish, a brunch item or a lovely dessert. Here's my recipe I hope you enjoy.

Ingredients

5 cups of stale bread cubed (I used 3 day old homemade bread)

1/2 cup milk

2 medium eggs

1/2 cup granulated sugar

1/2 tsp salt

1/2 cup melted butter

1/2 tsp cinnamon

1 cup frozen or fresh raspberries

1/2 tbsp sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

Method

●Place cubed bread in a big bowl with granulated sugar, salt and cinnamon and mix.

●In smaller bowl whisk egg, milk, melted butter.

●Pour milk mixture into bread mixture and toss quickly the scoop into greased dish.

●Place raspberries in dish one by one. Mix tbsp sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle atop bread.

● Bake at 250 degrees for 30 mins

●Top with your favorite ice cream or maple syrup etc and enjoy.
