SPINACH CRANBERRY SALAD

Updated: Apr 11, 2020

You all know i'm about keeping it tasty, healthy and cute. Nothing does that better than a salad with fresh ingredients, lots of different textures and tastes that all compliment each other. Raw spinach is the star of this salad; a major source of iron which we all know is great for us. It is also rich in many other essential nutrients, some of which are more available to our bodies when we consume them raw. These nutrients include folate, vitamin C, niacin, riboflavin, and potassium. Topped with sweet cranberries and a light garlic dressing, this salad is what I would call a "salad lovers delight."

Here's my recipe

INGREDIENTS

4 cups Spinach

1 cup chopped Red Cabbage

1 small Green Onion chopped

1/2 cup slivered Almonds

1/2 Cranberries

METHOD

●Place all ingredients in salad bowl and toss.

●Refrigerate and prepare salad dressing.

DRESSING

1/2 cup Mayo

1/2 cup Water

1 tbsp Brown Sugar

1 grated Garlic

2 leaves chopped Chadon Beni

1/2 tsp Cayenne Pepper

pinch Salt

pinch White Pepper

METHOD

●Place all ingredients into a jar and shake rigorously. Place in the refrigerator until its ready to be served.

Drizzle your salad with garlic dressing and enjoy
