14 Spice Chicken

While searching for 5 spice Chinese Seasoning I happened up this 14 spice blend in a little gourmet place I frequent. Spices are truly like the extra loving touch you, add to any dish to enhance the flavors and create a meal that is unique to you. We use an abundance of spices in the Caribbean. We even grow a few ourselves. So with my Udon on my mind, I set out with my 14 spices to create a somewhat Asian style chicken during my Food Therapy session. I hope you enjoy Ingredients 3 boneless chicken thighs
4 tsps 14 spice seasoning
1 tsp grated ginger
1 tsp Chinese Seasoning
1/4 black pepper
1/2 teaspoon salt
3 tsps dark soy sauce
1 tsp garlic powder
1/4 tsp chilli flakes
1/3 cup vegetable oil Method ●Wash and drain chicken thighs and place in a dry bowl. ●Add all the spices rub into chicken and set aside. ●Heat oil to medium heat and add thighs cooking 10 mins on either side until meat has been cooked all the way through. I served this with a beautiful plate of Udon noodles but it's great with rice bowls etc. Thanks for joining this session of Food Therapy, hope to see you soon ♥️
