Honey Mustard Chicken 

Sweet and tart pieces of golden chicken cooked to juicy perfection is basically what this recipe promises. In my household we eat a lot of chicken and I'm always searching for ways to spruce it up. I keep most of my recipes relatively simple, something: I can quickly throw together after a hard day at work when I still want a nice dinner. I also try to keep most of my ingredients affordable and easy to find, that way almost anyone can make them. Without further ado, here's my recipe for this delicious chicken....enjoy. Ingredients 4 Chicken Breasts or Thighs

1/2 cup Water

2 tbsp Mustard

3 tbsp Water

3 tbsp Honey
(it's perfectly ok to use brown sugar in place of honey if you don't have on hand)

1/2 tsp Paprika

1 tsp Garlic Powder

1 tbsp Dark Soy Sauce (low sodium)

1/2 tsp Salt

1 tbsp Apple Cider Vinegar

1 tbsp Thyme

1/4 Black Pepper Method



●Trim fat and wash chicken pieces with Vinegar or Lemon/lime water, pat dry and season with salt and black pepper, toss and set aside.

●In a small mixing bowl add mustard, vinegar, 3 tbsps water, honey, paprika, garlic powder thyme and soy sauce whisk well.

●Add 2/3 of the mixture to chicken and toss again coating all pieces of chicken with sauce.

●In a skillet or wide saucepan on medium heat add remaining tbps water when the water begins to bubble add pieces of chicken. Add 1/2 cup water to bowl to get the residue at the base of the bowl and add to the pan and cover allow chicken to steam for 20 mins.

●Uncover and place chicken pieces skin side down allow water to reduce completely until golden.

●Drizzle with remaining sauce and serve hot.
