Oven Baked Lobster

I am not a huge fan of Lobster. It tastes delicious, but the texture isn't my favorite thing in the world to me. Still on the rare occasion when I do prepare it I like to do it right and this recipe is just that. The recipe is actually Oven Baked Lobster Tail in Bacon infused Garlic Butter. Yummss. It's of course super easy to make, super fun and super delicious so let's get started. Here's my recipe. INGREDIENTS 2 (8 oz) lobster tails 1 Lime or Lemon sliced 1 stick Butter 1/2 cup chopped Bacon Bitts 4 cloves grated Garlic 1 tsp Salt 1 tsp Black Pepper 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder 1 tsp Paprika (I prefer smoked) 1 tsp fresh parsley, chopped METHOD ●Immerse lobster tails in a bowl of water and squeeze limes into water use this to wash lobster tails (shell on) thoroughly. ●Using kitchen scissors cut down the back of your lobster stopping slightly short of the fanned tail. ●Using a spoon, separate the meat from the two sides of the shell, then lift the meat up and out from inside the shell. ●Close shell and allow tail to lie on the top of it where the seams meet. ●Take butter and cut into cubes, place it in a medium skillet on high heat and allow it to melt. ●Once the butter has melted place your grated garlic and stir till it becomes fragrant, add bacon bits to garlic butter mixture and again stir. ●Allow bacon to cook for 2-3 mins till most of the fat has melted and the bacon begins to caramelize and remove skillet from heat. ●Remove bacon from melted butter and add garlic powder, salt, black pepper, paprika and parsley to melted butter. ●Using basting brush, glaze your tails with butter generously, top with a sprinkle more of paprika and fresh parsley and place in a greased baking pan. ●Place tails in preheated oven and cook @ 450° F for 12-15 mins before removing from heat. ●Serve your tails with the remaining garlic butter for dipping and most importantly enjoy Thanks for joining me for another session of Food Therapy. See you soon ❤
