Teriyaki Pork

Slow cooked and well seasoned pork slices, glazed with Teriyaki Sauce makes this recipe a perfect main dish. To make this, I usually use slices of pork chops or pork shoulder steaks/slices to obtain the perfect amount of fat to flesh ratio and to ensure a nice, well cooked piece of meat. You can have this with rice, noodles or vegetables but however you choose to pair this dish, I sincerely hope you enjoy. INGREDIENTS 2 12 oz Pork Shoulder slices 2 tbsp Green Seasoning https://www.terisfoodtherapy.com/post/green-seasoning 2 cups Teriyaki Sauce 1 tsp White Pepper 1/2 tsp Chili Flakes 2/3 tsp Salt pinch Paprika 1/2 tsp Sesame Seeds (for garnish) METHOD ●Wash pork slices with lime/lemon or vinegar water to clean and cut freshness. ●Pat dry and place slices in dry bowl and season with green seasoning, paprika, white pepper, salt and chili flakes.Marinate for 30 mins or more. ●Preheat oven 350 F ●Oil a baking tray well and place slices on tray, cover tray with foil and place in oven for 40 mins covered. ●Uncover and baste with teriyaki sauce liberally on both sides. Set remaining sauce aside. ●Finish cooking for 10 mins on one side ensuring that you get a beautiful golden and slightly charred color and the flip and repeat on the other side for another 10 mins. ●Finally remove from oven brush lightly with remaining sauce then garnish with sesame seeds and herb of choice (I used parsley).
